The Hens
Our hens live on our smallholding in the village of Brenchley. They are kept in small flocks with free access to pasture during the day. We move the hens to fresh pasture every few days to help produce naturally tasty eggs with a good yolk colour.
At night they return to the safety of their spacious purpose-built houses.
The hens are fed a traditional grain based and GM-free diet with access to fresh water throughout the day.
We plan to keep several small flocks of different ages in order to provide a consistent supply of eggs.
The Eggs
Our eggs are hand collected and checked for quality every day. We sell the eggs as ‘mixed sizes’ representing the natural range of sizes produced, mostly in the medium and large size ranges (53-73g weight) with a few extra large (>73g) from the older birds!
Prices and Delivery
Free Range Mixed Sizes (including free delivery within the local area):
6 eggs – £2.10
12 eggs – £4.20
30 eggs (tray) – £9.25
If you wish to place a regular order, please fill in the form below or call/text on 07593 338 174 and we will be pleased to add your order to our delivery rounds. You can choose a weekly or fortnightly delivery (which will be on the same day each week).
On the last delivery of each month we will provide a statement showing the total value of the eggs delivered during that month. Payment by cash or bank transfer is preferred.
